Onboard Emerald Sakara
Unwind in modern surroundings, where more space per guest makes days on the water a true pleasure. Wine and dine at La Cucina Dining, enjoy a peaceful breakfast and lunch al fresco on the La Cucina Terrace and catch up with new found friends over a drink in the Amici Lounge. Warm days on the water are best spent sipping a drink on the Sky Deck or appreciating the views from the infinity-style pool. And, on selected days, we’ll host swim stops, encouraging you to take a dip in the crystalline waters.
Our Globe and Mail Cruise culinary host Tara O’Brady works directly with Emerald Sakara’s onboard executive chef and his team to enhance the onboard cuisine to match the level of luxury this ship provides.

Wine tour and tasting at Château de Crémat, a historic winery north of Nice, France, known for its picturesque architecture and stunning views of the French Riviera.
Join Tara O’Brady for a culinary class at Les Petits Farcis, a charming and authentic culinary school, nestled in the heart of Nice’s Old Town right next to the market, where guests can immerse themselves in the vibrant flavors of Provençal cuisine

Portofino
Experience the flavors of Liguria with a culinary class in Rapallo, Italy, where you'll learn to prepare traditional Italian dishes amidst stunning coastal scenery.
Discover the rich flavors of Ligurian olive oil with a visit to an olive mill in Portofino, where you can tour the facility and enjoy a guided tasting of artisanal olive oils.

Portoferraio
Join Tara O’Brady for a culinary class at Cantucci Bakery to master the art of traditional Tuscan
baking, in a charming, historic setting on Elba Island.
Enjoy a guided tour of Elba where you follow Napoleon’s path followed by a wine tour and
tasting at a local winery.
DAY 6
Bonifacio
Explore the historic charm of Bonifacio on a walking tour, indulging in local Corsican delicacies
along the way.

Porto Ercole
Join Tara O’Brady and the Emerald Sakara’s Executive Chef on a guided walking tour of Porto Ercole and a visit to a local market with a tasting of some local specialties.
Hosted by Christopher Waters, discover the essence of Tuscan viticulture with a tour and tasting at a local winery, set amidst the region's picturesque rolling hills.

Rome* Group dinner at Pipero Restaurant
This evening Tara O’Brady, Christopher Waters and Globe European Bureau Chief Eric Reguly host a dinner at 1 Michelin starred restaurant Pipero, in the heart of Rome.
